Moreno finishes second in conference championships

Cross country earns bid to So Cal Regional

City College's Mark Moreno trailed Glendale's Francisco Quijado by 11 seconds, taking second place at the WSC Championships at Fairbanks Park in San Luis Obispo on Oct. 27.

Moreno's efforts lead the Vaqs men's team to a fourth place finish. Seanie Rigney's 18th-place finish also helped the women finish fourth.

Glendale won both the women's and men's WSC titles. The Vaqs' fourth place finishes qualified them for the So Cal Regional on Nov. 7 at Mt. Sac.
